Ashoka is building a collaborative innovation network to shift mindsets and accelerate the movement for ethical consumption. Ethical consumption combines the conceptual power of changemaking with the market power of consumption, including efforts to consume less, consume goods and services with better social and environmental impact, and consume products from organizations with better social and environmental performance. Summary: The Ethical Consumption Intern will support the development of ethical consumption as a field of focus for Ashoka. This individual will possess exceptional research, organization and communication skills, as well as creativity, passion and demonstrated commitment to positive social change and social entrepreneurship. This role is an extraordinary opportunity to learn more about ethical consumption and gain exposure to Ashoka’s innovative culture.

**Successful candidates will possess most of the following skills and experiences:
Time Commitment: Flexible. Generally at least two months duration, with approximately 12-20 hours per week for fall, winter and spring seasons, and approximately 20-30 hours per week for summer season.
