Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

The position is responsible for assisting in the development and administration of environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures in line with recognized industry frameworks under the leadership of the ESG Senior Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of Li-Cycle’s ESG strategy and tracking of sustainability related KPIs.
• Conduct research on ESG industry trends and frameworks.
• Develop internal ESG policies and frameworks with input from various stakeholders.
• Assist with preparation of corporate sustainability reports in accordance with commonly adopted standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, etc.).
• Update Li-Cycle’s LCA and respond to internal and external ESG requests.
• Contribute to the development and production of ESG presentation materials.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of Li-Cycle’s ESG capabilities, including staying abreast of industry trends and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business or sustainability
• Passion for ESG, sustainability with an entry-level understanding of (or strong appetite to learn about) ESG data, frameworks, reporting, and industry best practices.
