Dewberry is currently seeking a NEPA/Environmental Planner to join our environmental services group in either the Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC offices to work on a variety of projects for federal, state, municipal, and private infrastructure clients. The environmental services group provides planning, natural environment surveys and permitting, public outreach, and community studies for a range of clients in North Carolina and the southeast. The Planner may serve as either a deputy project manager or project manager for transportation and other infrastructure improvement projects, with responsibility for overseeing project schedule and budget as needed.
Qualified candidates must have the ability to manage and coordinate assignments with a multi-disciplinary team and prepare a variety of deliverables, including NEPA compliance documents, feasibility studies, and long-range planning studies. The Planner will also conduct public and stakeholder outreach and may assist with community impact assessments as needed. Experience in MicroStation and ArcGIS is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
