BACKGROUND
INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines (Waukesha), a business unit of the INNIO Group, produces large, stationary reciprocating engines that drive gas compressors for all stages of natural gas production. Waukesha has over 50,000 units installed worldwide. Our engines are designed to run under high-stress conditions in isolated, mission-critical and demanding environments.
Waukesha has annual revenue of $300M, with approximately 40% from engine sales and 60% from parts and services. The business unit has 700 employees and is headquartered in Waukesha, WI (Greater Milwaukee). Waukesha has manufacturing facilities in Waukesha and Welland, Ontario. INNIO was created in 2018 when Advent International acquired GE’s Distributed Power business. The acquisition included two businesses, Waukesha and Jenbacher, that operate as separate entities under the INNIO umbrella.
