OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Employment: Permanent

Start Date: June 2023

Location: Manila, Philippines or Bangalore, India

Reporting to: Director of Product & Engineering

Job Description:

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in web application development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in ReactJS and NodeJS, and have a deep understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of web applications using ReactJS and NodeJS
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to identify and prioritize features for the application
• Design and implement features to ensure application performance, scalability, and stability
• Ensure that code adheres to best practices and coding standards
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, frontend developers, and UX/UI designers, to ensure successful delivery of the product
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve application development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in web application development, with a strong emphasis on ReactJS and NodeJS
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns
• Experience with server-side rendering and client-side rendering
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile development environment
• Ability to speak Kannada a plus
