Renewables Certification (RC) belongs to business area Energy Systems (ES) with more than 4000 people globally. Renewables Certification has the global responsibility for Type Certification (TC), Component Certification (CC) and Project Certification (PC) for Renewables within ES. Currently Renewables Certification consists of 250+ experts with locations in Beijing, Boston, Copenhagen, Dresden, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Høvik, London, Busan, Shanghai, Taipei and Yokohama.

Renewables Certification is the global market leader in the Renewables Certification market and is involved in 80% of Project Certification for offshore wind parks including offshore substations in the world.

We are looking for experienced electrical engineers, with a strong profile and interest in working with renewable energy.

The work is related to certification of electrical installation for offshore substations and offshore converter platforms. The Section Offshore Substations department in addition work with offshore subsea cable designs and Wind Turbine designs.

As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will form part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in design verification activities in different disciplines as structural design, fire & safety, and E&I engineering.

Besides the technical work additional project management activities are expected in relation to the different projects.

Position Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree (M.Sc / B.SC) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from a similar position, preferably from the consulting or engineering sector
• Generalist with broad experience in electrical engineering (power engineering or similar) with passion to dive into detailed design aspects of equipment and systems used in high- and low-voltage installations at the same time.
• Knowledge of relevant IEC standards and ideally knows the essential criteria concerning power system design and rating of components including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, cables, and battery systems
• Basic knowledge on lightning protection design and EMC will round up the profile.
• Experience with manufacturing survey, FAT and offshore commissioning will be seen as positive
• Strong English skills (written and spoken)
