Overview

ELEVATE is seeking a passionate, detail oriented/hands on EiQ Data Architect to design the target state data architecture, and to facilitate the transition to the target state.  The data architect is also responsible for driving an architecture mindset and a data-driven culture in the organization.

The data architect will define models, policies and standards that will govern the movement, enhancement, integration, catalog, quality, security, scalability, and availability of data throughout the organization. Another focus of the data architect will be to lead the establishment of the technical Data Platform for EiQ.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the ELEVATE’s multi-functional / multi-national teams, includes Advisory Team, Assessment Team, Product Development, Analytics and I.T. teams to drive the planning and development of exceptional digital products that support our program effectiveness vision and enable responsible sourcing excellence for our multi-national clients. Responsibilities

• Build trust and exert influence in all areas of EiQ and business to develop a data-driven culture among the organization.
• Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, articulate solution options, evaluate trade-offs and influence key decisions.
• Collaborate within and outside of IT to define the data management & governance process and facilitate its adoption.
• Collaborate with technology risk and compliance to ensure alignment with data protection and security policies.
• Employ architecture principles, technology standards, best practices and practical experience to design data management & governance solutions to facilitate the overall information architecture (data solutions, ingestion, classification, linage & traceability, integration, catalogue, quality, security, scalability, availability, etc.)
• Lead the working groups to improve data quality for EiQ. Moreover, establish the sustainable process to monitor and continuously improve data quality.
• Partner with application development teams the solutioning of the data management and governance platform.
• Partner with application development teams to create and apply data integration patterns between applications running for EiQ (on AWS).
• Partner with application development teams to ensure project/application solution deliveries are aligned with data policies and standards.
• Partner with business to leverage data to tackle business challenges/opportunities, to improve strategic decision making, reduce risk, create operational efficiencies and fuel business success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT related experience in data architect/data management position.
• Track record of making a difference and adding value. Must be able to develop relationships across IT and business units, working cross functionally to achieve results.
• Proven ability to lead and demonstrate strong sense of ownership.
• Proven ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding.
• Experience in executive communication.
• Experience in setting up Data Governance and processes in an enterprise environment is preferred.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouse such as Postgres, SQL Server, or others
• Experience with NoSQL DBs such as MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, ElastiCache, Redis, Neo4j or others
• Experience with Map and Design of the DataLake, Pipelines, Warehousing and Marts and modelling/science.
• Experience with statistical tools and building machine learning algorithms using tools such as Python, or others.
• Experience with data visualization/analytic tools such as Tableau, MS Power BI or others.
• Self-motivated, action-and-result oriented, team player and proven ability to influence others.
• Excellence verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
