KEY DUTIES

- With guidance from Senior Project Coordinator and support from Education Technical Advisor, work closely with the project partners to ensure project activities are implement with participatory and inclusive approaches.
- Set regular coordination meeting with partners to develop activity plan and tools preparation prior activity conducting.
- Planning and deliver trainings to VEDC, school principals, teachers, students’ parents and communities
- With school principals, monitor and identify teacher champions, develop case studies and share with other teachers for learning purposed as well as good practice publication
- Provide technical support to teachers on Techer Learning Circle practices in schools as well as advises on alternative teaching methods and teaching tools production with local resources available in community
- Support to Senior Project Coordinator to monitor activities demonstrating change in terms of quality and appropriateness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, stakeholders and communities.
- Prepare and provide activity or trip report to Senior Project Coordinator after finished activity or field trip.
- Participate in any baseline, mid-term, end-line surveys or any need assessments of teachers and children in selected schools, as directed by the Project Coordinator or Education Program Manager.
- Coordinate with support service units for administration, logistic and financial procurement to support activity implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- A Bachelor degree in education, development studies, or other related fields.
- At least 3 years of technical project implementation experience
- A demonstrated interest and or understanding of the education sector in Lao PDR.
- Field experience and demonstrated skills in diversity and inclusion.
- Experience in student-centred teaching methods and teaching tools development with inclusion perspective
- Experience working with desirable People groups, children with disabilities in Laos. This include ability to be relational with children.
- Strong written skills and experience producing project report in Lao and English.
- IT skills and familiarity with MS Office, MS Windows and Internet applications (including email).
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork and conflict resolution.
- Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment (PSEAH) risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding and PSEAH policy and procedures, and conduct yourself consistent with those policies
Location: ChildFund in Laos, Saphanthong Neua Village, House No. 598, Unit 26, Sisattanak District, Vientiane, Laos.

The position is based in Houameuang District, with regular travel to target villages within Xamneua District, Huaphanh province.
