SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents as well as the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological family. The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwaraeliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Jaffna, Gandara, Peraliya, Malpotha and Mallavi. EDUCATION EDUCATOR –FEMALE (CHILDREN’S VILLAGE – PILIYANDALA)
Candidates for this position should have a Degree or Diploma in Sociology, Psychology, Education or equivalent and possesses training/experience in teaching, sports & educational activities, career guidance, child psychology, counseling and youth services.
Duties will include the development of children and youth’s educational programs, assisting and guiding to resolve personal, social or psychological problems faced by children and youth, conducting study programs and liaison work with school principals and teachers.
Candidates with a true passion for working with children and youth will be given preference. Candidates must be able to work in a computerized office environment. Those who are committed and willing to put in the extra mile are strongly desired.

The above position is residential and selected candidates will have to reside at the relevant project itself. Single residential accommodation, utilities will be provided by the organization and meals will be provided at subsidized rates.
