KEY DUTIES
Key area 1: Administration and office management
- Key area 1: Driving Services and Car Security and Maintenance
- Drive vehicle for business travel to highest professional and safety standards in accordance with ChildFund Cambodia’s Driving guidelines and standards;
- Maintain a high standard of service to all ChildFund Cambodia guest, partners and staff, ensuring punctual pick-up and arrival.
- Implement all traffic laws and traffic regulations of Cambodia and ensure that no alcohol before or during driving and wearing seat belts before departure.
- Ensure the vehicle kept clean, tidy and in excellent working condition at all times: oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.
- Ensure vehicle repairs are carried out properly by following to ChildFund Cambodia’s procurement guidelines.
- Prepare ChildFund Cambodia’s vehicle spare parts inventory and maintenance record.
- Prepare and submit Vehicle Log Book and Vehicle Monitoring Reports, including a full record of vehicle usage, expenses, mileage, at end of each month.
- In collaboration with the Finance and Administration Officer, prepare a budget plan for vehicle maintenance.
- Perform other tasks as advised by line supervisor.
Key area 2: Office Clerical tasks
- Perform clerical work like photocopying, filing, and fixed asset records both good and poor conditions;
- Collect and drop mails, correspondence, parcels, packages from post office, line ministries, provinces, and other NGOs;
- Maintain office storage facility/garage to ensure high levels of cleanliness, security, safety of organization;
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A valid driving licence for four-wheel vehicle issued by relevant competent government authorities
- High school with relevant discipline, ethical, and trust worthy person;
- Highest standards of defensive driving skills with excellent judgment of traffic conditions;
- Physically fit and healthy person
- Good knowledge about car mechanics and project locations (Urban PNP and Kandal province)
- Minimum of three years of experience as a driver with excellent driving record, including four-wheel driving experience;
- Experience with driving to remote locations on project field trips preferable;
- Excellent time keeping skills.
- Basic English proficiency is an added advantage
Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding or sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment (SEAH) risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding and PSEAH policy and procedures, and conduct yourself consistent with those policies.
