About the role
GVI is looking for a Dive Coordinator who can oversee the effective day to day running of the dive operation, as well as manage the learning journey for our participants as they complete their PADI OW, AOW, rescue, and specialty courses. They will have experience with leadership, specifically volunteer or guest management, and have a professional PADI Dive Instructor qualification.

Professional skills and experience:
Minimum PADI OWSI Instructor
Degree in Environmental Science/Marine Biology or experience in a relevant field.
Scheduling and volunteer management experience 2+ years
Powerboat Level 2 licence (or equivalent) and boat handling experience
Standard drivers’ licence, preferably manual
Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent
Valid Medic First Aid instructor qualification
Experience in boat and engine maintenance and repair, small engine mechanic
Experience of living in a remote location with minimal supervision
Experience in marine ecosystem research
Experience in coastal ecosystem research
