reach52 is a fast growing, health tech start up enabling access to healthcare in underserved regions. We train a network of trusted local agents to use our tech platform to collect data on healthcare needs, run targeted health awareness and screening engagements and facilitate access to affordable products. We work with private sector to open new markets and regions, whilst achieving social good.
Our clients include established pharmaceutical, consumer health and FMCG companies (J&J, Pfizer, Unilever) to multilateral organisations (UNICEF, Innovate UK, Grand Challenges Canada). We also collaborate closely with governments and NGO partners to scale fast. Headquartered in Singapore, we also have teams across India, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia and Kenya.

Summary of the role
The successful candidate will spearhead reach52’s evolving strategy, growth and partnerships functions, setting targets and goals, and market entry strategy.
Beyond this, you will lead sales and business development, conceptualising proposals and pitching to clients and partners from initial contacts to the contracting stage. You’ll work with our country teams to design and oversee our in-country strategy and associated partnerships.
Additionally, you’ll work closely with our tech team to design and support the delivery of our partner-facing platform, features and dashboards – building a tech platform that can join the dots in healthcare and create access for all.

What you’ll do
The core role scope and responsibilities will be:
Work as part of the Management Team to shape business strategy, country growth and a broad range of strategic initiatives
Grow, enhance and maintain our overall partnerships and business development strategy
Help shape the broader business strategy and growth of reach52 as part of the Management Team – including working with investors
Help set and drive our growth and expansion into new markets, managing market research and go-to-market plans
Drive new partnerships and deals for both revenue generation but also our essential enabling partners (government, distributors, pharmacies, etc)
Work with new clients and partners to shape, design and price new campaigns
Help define new business offerings and products/services, including the business model and financial forecasts
Manage Partnerships team, lead discussions on program design and proposals
Performance reviews, coaching and mentorship of junior team members
Support and lead our tech team on our client and partner facing platform features (dashboards, etc)
Working with our marketing team for partner-facing campaigns
Aligning with our research and data teams to develop content and whitepapers for partners
Maintain overall visibility of key workstreams, risks, issues etc
Represent reach52 when required externally (conferences, presentations, events, etc)
Team management, performance reviews, hiring, coaching and training the team
Budget management and reporting, CRM oversight
The skills we’ll need
Ideally 10+ years’ experience, with relevant experience from a similar function
Passion for digital healthcare and innovation, wanting to work hard as part of a dedicated team to change how healthcare is delivered for 52% of our planet
A strong network in relevant sectors global health, access to health/medicine, pharma/consumer/FMCG, emerging markets business teams or other similar/relevant sector
Proven track record in winning new business as well as account management
Experience of market expansion, strategy and go-to-market execution is an advantage
Hard working but thrives on flexible, trust-based culture, with focus on outputs and outcomes
Strong communicator, good at dealing with clients and partners – from BD through to managing project delivery and any issues or escalation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong academics, qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, report writing and creation of documents that articulate complex concepts in a simple way – experience in consulting or similar is an advantage
Willingness to travel extensively to meet all our great partners!
