The Role: Director, Purchasing and Logistics
Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality, enabling global industries to play offense in the fight against climate change. We are looking for a committed individual to join us in the role of Director, Purchasing and Logistics.
The Director will be a key player in Svante’s journey to full commercialization. This person will be a member of Svante’s Global Supply Chain and Operations team but will work broadly with various departments within Svante including, Manufacturing, Product Development, Facilities, Quality, Finance and other Svante departments as required. The primary role of the Director is overseeing all of the company’s purchases of goods and services, as well as looking after the movement of inbound and outbound materials.
Svante is implementing a suite of manufacturing software, the cornerstone of which is Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP). The Director will be closely involved with the MRP system, joining a small team responsible for the performance and use of MRP, building out capabilities and driving internal efficiency for the procurement of manufacturing materials.
