In response to the recent crisis in Ukraine, Global Communities is seeking experienced humanitarian professionals to apply for positions on our external emergency response roster. As the situation evolves emergency response team members will support in identifying, designing and starting response activities in Ukraine or in neighboring countries based on need.
This position is located full time in Kyiv, Ukraine. This position requires travel to and from conflict affected areas.
Director of Finance (DF) will oversee an annual portfolio of approximately $20M USD in donor-funded programs. The portfolio includes a mix of humanitarian assistance, governance, economic development and localization and technical assistance delivered throughout Ukraine. The DF is responsible for overseeing project finances and other operational and administrative duties, as required. The DF supervises the tracking, reporting and management of all financial aspects to ensure the best use of resources by preparing sound budgets, monitoring project expenses, and ensuring timely preparation of financial reports.
