Director, Finance – North America Region
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance -North America, the Director, Finance - North America will be responsible for overseeing all Hub Operations & Capital Projects for the NA Region.

Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Chief Technical Officer and Hub Operations team and other key leaders on the Hub execution strategy including capital tracking for the Hub build and operational setup and financial build for the Hub business
- Support CFO and work directly with the Capital execution team in monitoring project capital spend and commitments, driving analytics to support project performance and spend management. This is a ground up build requirement
- Direct and lead processes for financial metrics, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to deliver timely, relevant, accurate and complete information that further elevates business performance. This will involve aligning the leadership on a performance and accountability culture as well as supporting the systems and the operational financial reporting build out. This will be critical to the business in establishing the desired behaviors and mindset of the team on key measurement points and KPI’s as well as brining knowledge and leadership to establish the right outcomes
- Full management of the segment financial statements taking ownership of the business results, and support to the corporate team in closing monthly results and providing key insights
- Oversight of deliverables for financial cycles: annual operating budget, monthly forecast reviews, strategic plans
- Financial analytical leadership across areas: plant performance for North America (Spokes and Hub) cost benefit analysis, ROI analysis, operations variance analysis and leadership in continuous improvement and performance management.
- Manage expense budgets and proactively partner with team on project and investment decisions
- Strong capability in managing working capital and cash, the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets and perform the necessary financial analysis for capital appropriation requests.
- Responsible for controls, substantiating documentation, governance, and audit requirements across the facilities in US
- Lead in establishing best practices and standardization across the business and finance function
- Develop, train and manage career progression for finance team
- Finance lead for implementation for ERP for the North American network
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA required
- Ten+ years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations (manufacturing environment experience preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial principles
- ERP build knowledge and costing background will be a key asset
- Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, well developed financial analysis capabilities, and demonstrated ability to manage computer operations and applications
- Professional proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office suite software
- Ability to partner across cross-functional leaders, ability to stand firm and effectively drive towards positive solutions. Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment and has the ability to influence leadership towards best business outcomes
- Problem-solving-ability to analyze results, identify opportunities and create solutions
