Digital Transformation and Change Management Manager

Job Summary:

The Digital Transformation and Change Management Manager (DTCM Manager) position is responsible for enterprise-wide change management program related to digital transformation programs. The DTCM Manager will own the design, planning, execution and related communication for these initiatives.  This person will work with the corporate communications team, as required.  They will have a particular focus on identifying and managing the potential change impacts of the enterprise-wide digital transformation projects related to applications and infrastructure.

The DTCM Manager will prepare the change management programs and risk assessments on identified change impacts, design, plan and execute the change management plan and mitigation strategies, they will work with and engage change agents across the organization, stakeholders as well as extended teams in a matrix structure to deliver the change management programs.  They will plan and align on key responsibilities across the organization to deliver the change actions.

The DTCM Manager needs to ensure all change activities are aligned with respective projects being delivered and are delivered via the projects and/or in tandem with digital transformation project plans with support for the project managers.

The DTCM Manager will play a key role in ensuring support for teams and the business achieving the best outcomes in risk managing the projects and for employees that are impacted. This person will identify and manage interdependencies, flag risks/issues to respective Project Managers and track the action plans, mitigation strategies and outcomes that are achieved. Additionally, the role will support senior IT stakeholders, in conjunction with the communications team with relevant content design and preparation guides to support execution for communication within the organization. The responsibility will also entail creating and implementing change management plans that maximize employee adoption, usage, and minimize resistance.

The DTCM Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees through appropriate support and information.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective change management and risk mitigation programs
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance change adoption within the organization, work with the communication team as needed for best channel on delivery of communications
  • Create relevant content design and preparation guides to support execution for communication within the organization related to strategies for IT releases of new products and application launches for the enterprise.
  • Work with communications team to create informative and interesting communication releases, internal newsletters, and related internal marketing material for the IT department.
  • Support IT projects to guarantee all content is publication ready
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change with support from senior stakeholders and change champions
  • Support aligning of training efforts and schedules with project schedules
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities in the context of the change
  • Coordinate efforts with specialists and PMs as required to integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Manage internal feedback protocols and initiatives that will foster employee moral

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Business, Information Management Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 Years’ experience in managing Organizational Change or related field
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Effectively liaise with other teams to resolve cross functional issues
