Waukesha Digital Sales Leader
The Waukesha Digital Sales Leader will be responsible to grow global digital sales in both power generation and compression market segments. This is a player/coach role where the ideal candidate will be capable of prospecting, nurturing, and closing digital sales deals on his/her own, while also coaching and mentoring the global new units and services sales teams (35 people) to grow our digital offering. This role reports to the VP Global Sales and Services, Waukesha.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Waukesha Digital Sales Leader, you will:
- Research and map key digital accounts and prospective opportunities all the way to deal closure
- Mentor the global sales team and be jointly measured on their digital sales order intake
- Accelerate our growth path in digital engine and compressor analytics through the deployment of value selling methodologies, including our Remote Operating Center (ROC) service offering
- Research, monitor and report on key competitors and provide critical input into our NPI process
- Use critical thinking, strong written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships and translate market intelligence into compelling, winning sales strategies
- Conduct win/loss calls with prospects and communicate findings to key stake holders internally
- Support sales engagements with detailed competitive insights and strategy development
- Be directly or indirectly responsible for increasing win rates against key competitors
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior management channel partners in a timely manner
- Organize customer specific services workshops to increase knowledge and transparency of services offerings
- Be the voice of the customer within INNIO and drive improvements to increase the value we bring with our digital offering to our customers
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or business administration
- Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience in the power generation industry or Oil & Gas Industry, with direct experience in digital and machinery analytics (reciprocating equipment preferred).
- Ability and willingness to travel globally up to 75% of the time, with some occasional international travel
- Ability to work remotely from your home office
- Valid US passport
