As we enter our next phase of growth, we're seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing, we are looking for a driven Digital Marketing Specialist to contribute to our marketing and communications campaigns, furthering Growcer’s brand equity and maximizing impact to our inbound channels. This role will get a high level of exposure across the organization and offer the opportunities to have a significant impact for our business and our mission.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Executing holistic marketing and communications campaigns, developing messaging, digital marketing strategies and tactics across all channels.
- Owning our email marketing channel, and developing new strategies and campaigns to increase engagement and click through across multiple segments.
- Executing on our social media strategy and providing key insights and advising on new strategies and opportunities.
- Coordinating and executing plans through project management combined with ongoing collaboration and communication with key stakeholders across Growcer and beyond.
- Contributing to content development and communications as needed.
Who You Are
- A strategic self-starter with 2-3 years of digital marketing experience.
- A creative thinker with excellent problem-solving and judgment skills.
- Experienced in CRM tools such as Hubspot, and an ability to create in the Adobe Suite, Canva, and email marketing platforms.
- Fluent in digital marketing tools and applications (e.g. Google Analytics, Squarespace/Wordpress, SEO tools such as Semrush ahrefs, and Serpstat).
A demonstrated writer, proofreader, and editor with a solid understanding of project management and a strong attention to accuracy and detail.

- A background in agriculture, food tech/ag tech, horticulture.

Compensation
- 6-month contract (with possibility of extension to full-time permanent)
- Equivalent to yearly salary band: 60 000-70 000 commensurate with experience.
