ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the Integrated Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager supports our commercial business by synthesizing corporate goals and strategic areas to execute SEM, SEO, and paid digital initiatives that drive results. You will own the strategy development and the tactical management of all digital channels to drive acquisition and retention, site traffic and conversions. In addition, this role will work on key initiatives, such as helping to develop the vision and lead the project management of the company’s website redesign and on-going maintenance.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Commercial Marketing. This is a remote role in the United States with travel periodically for team meetings or training.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the evolving digital lead generation strategy, responsible for establishing annual marketing and sales qualified lead (MQL/SQL) goals and tactics to meet them. You will test and optimize new digital lead generation channels and continue to push marketing’s attribution efforts and reporting.
- Lead our Google Ads channel activity, develop and optimize SEM strategy, including keyword research, ad creation, maintaining and developing new campaigns, creating and testing landing pages, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead development of short-and-long-term vision for 3Degrees.com, including project management of the roll out website redesign in partnership with internal and external partners for 3Degrees’ corporate and employer brand, and commercial and utility businesses.
- Monitor and manage all key reporting and analytics systems. Own the monthly reporting dashboard process, identifying trends and opportunities for performance improvement and report results to key stakeholders including executive leadership.
- Perform market research, keyword research, competitive analysis, progress reporting and other tasks to develop an informed SEO strategy which will be aligned with corporate objectives and disseminated across the marketing team.
ABOUT YOU
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you bring deep bench strength and a proven track record of driving digital marketing strategy across a variety of lead generation channels. You have a knack for using quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions, develop digital campaigns and improve performance. You balance strategy and execution with excellent collaboration, communication and project management skills.
Required:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B marketing planning and execution, including a progression of responsibility
- Fluency in Salesforce and Pardot
- Ads, Google Analytics expertise
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Strong campaign analysis skills, with a proven track record for maximizing campaign performance across many marketing channels
- Proven experience and successful track record on executing on website redesign for a corporation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to translate a vision to action and effectively lead a team, communicate with stakeholders, define project goals, and see a project through to closure
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Shared passion for our mission to help businesses and their customers take urgent action on climate change
Preferred:
- Experience with the renewable energy or sustainability industry
HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within 30 days
- You will have a firm understanding of marketing and sales team structure/processes and an overall understanding of our products and services
- You will have met with cross-functional stakeholders and external consultants to better understand the various marketing needs across the business
- You have familiarized yourself with the our Google Ads platform and the various digital marketing channels
- You will begin to take on project tasks to support the execution of key go-to-market initiatives
Within 60 days
- You will show some proficiency in the fundamental tasks of the role and be able to execute on project deliverables independently
- You will regularly join cross-functional team meetings to grow your knowledge of 3Degrees products and services
- You will have an understanding of commercial marketing tools and strategies and be able to leverage your unique perspective and insights to inform new opportunities for optimization
- You will haven take over management of Google Ads account
Within 90 days
- You will effectively manage our SEM channel, offer proactive solutions for meeting targets, and will report out on key results.
- You will effectively arm the Sales team and BU partners with key sales and marketing tools
- Key business units will feel an increased level of service and heightened subject matter expertise
- Have established ownership of the website redesign project
Within 6 months
- Effectively developing and delivering customer, competitive, and market insights with cross-functional team members on regular cadence
- Valuable strategic partner to key BUs and Sales team
- Independently executing key initiatives within the go-to-market plan
- Demonstrate your expertise to smoothly and timely execute go-to-market plans
- On track to hit your year-end Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) goal
- On track to hit your year-end commercial team KPI goals
