POSITION SUMMARY

The DMM is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing FSF’s digital marketing strategy that supports the organization’s fundraising and engagement goals. This role manages and optimizes paid and organic digital programs across markets and channels such as email, social, search, streaming, influencer, and more. The ideal candidate is a tech whiz and expert in digital marketing who is fueled by results, innovation, and strategy. He/she understands how to capture existing audiences and gain and retain new ones.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with leadership to build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy in line with overall organization goals.

  • Manage and oversee various digital marketing channels including but not limited to SEO, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing and Marketing Analytics, ensuring they meet organization goals and KPIs.

  • Design, plan and manage social media presence, ensuring content shared is designed to achieve marketing objectives.

  • Manage posting, engaging and scheduling editorial content within each platform while ensuring they are within the necessary social requirements; this includes monitoring and moderating comments on social media posts.

  • Track and measure important metrics that affect our website traffic, digital engagement, and target audience with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve and optimize.

  • Use social listening and analytic platforms to glean insights and recommend strategies that support campaign goals.

  • Provide insight and guidance to ensure compliance with accessibility and privacy laws as they relate to digital marketing and the broader digital ecosystem

  • Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms.

  • Collaborates with vendors, agencies, and other departments as necessary.

Job requirements

POSITION QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, Digital Technology or similar relevant field.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in digital marketing strategy, planning, and measurement.

  • Expertise with rapidly scaling digital channels and using KPIs to drive growth.

  • Solid understanding of digital media landscape with balance of traditional and emerging solutions.

  • Hands-on experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels.

  • Expert knowledge of and proficiency with website and marketing analytics tools, A/B testing, marketing conversion practices, managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns; WordPress a plus.

  • Expert knowledge of traditional digital marketing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube) and experience with emerging digital platforms.

  • Experience with social media listening and scheduling tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from data, understanding ROAs.

  • Ability multi-task and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with vendors and agencies in support of media execution.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word, knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus.

  • Inventive problem solver, highly collaborative, and have a high level of accountability

  • Impeccable communication skills, including written, oral, and listening.

  • Certifications in any of the following are a plus: Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot Content Marketing, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, HubSpot Email Marketing, Hootsuite Social Media Marketing, CMI (Content Marketing Institute), YouTube Certification Facebook Blueprint

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Hours of Operation: Although organization hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., this Management level position will work closer to 45-50 hours per week, especially during peak times such as holiday seasons, growing seasons, and disaster response. After hours business work is required occasionally throughout the year.

  • Environment: This position works in a typical office setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual concentration; writing and/or computer use. Occasional work will occur in the warehouse or outside in fields and warehouses in inclement weather. The noise is the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

  • Travel: FSF serves four counties so there is often same-day travel between the counties, using a personal vehicle, and occasional out of town travel for meetings, conferences, or special events.

  • OSHA Standards: Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.
