POSITION SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION:
The mission of American Bird Conservancy (ABC) is to conserve birds and their habitats – the places birds need to thrive – across the Americas. We are a growing group of 125+ dedicated staff, located across the United States and with a network of partners from Canada to Chile. Each year, we grow in budget and staff, and we deliver more results aimed at preventing bird species extinctions and reversing declines that are reducing populations of nearly all bird groups. We are looking for a creative, team-oriented, data-driven marketing Director to increase support and expand awareness for ABC. This position will be responsible for the creation, planning, and implementation of ABC’s digital marketing strategy with a strong focus on our online fundraising and email marketing; it will also play a role in deploying ABC branding and advertising. The Digital Marketing Director will develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns and associated activities that drive donor leads, as well as increase membership and financial support.
MAJOR DUTIES
Lead, monitor, and refine multi-channel fundraising and brand awareness campaigns (email, social media, web)
Manage and grow ABC email marketing program, including:
Handle all aspects of online fundraising to increase revenue:
Design and build digital advocacy campaigns to support ABC’s legislative priorities
Evaluate and propose alternative/additional advertising platforms
Manage third-party contracts and collaborate with consulting agencies
