The Job
As the Digital Marketing and Virtual counselor at Tiko, you’ll work together with the teams to ensure that our social behavior change communication interventions are well implemented, focusing on a robust digital media presence and digital media management.
You'll also be responsible for:
Ensuring targeted content creation, digital media amplification , engagement, and mobilization of resources and support to our target audiences on their user journey.
Develop and implement engaging social media content and calendars aligned with Tiko's brand and operational goals.
Drive digital community growth through targeted social media campaigns, increasing user engagement and self-enrollment on the Tiko platform.
Provide daily management of social platforms, including responding to comments and escalating user issues to ensure a positive experience.
Monitor social media conversations for data-driven decision-making, identifying trends and opportunities to improve engagement and brand reputation.
Manage media buying strategies to maximize traffic and engagement on social platforms, optimizing ad placements for effectiveness.
Facilitate training sessions and develop culturally relevant materials to promote positive behavioral changes in communities.
Use diverse training techniques, such as role-plays and group discussions, to engage participants and encourage active learning.
Support SBC, marketing activities, and administrative tasks across departments as needed.
About you
You are tech-savvy, have brilliant interpersonal skills and are able to work well in a team. You're a problem solver, who has the ability to innovate and improve the way that work is done.
Requirements
Degree in Health communications, social work, marketing and communications or related field.
Expertise in social media marketing: Knowledge and experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
Data-driven approach: emphasize data analysis and insights to inform campaign strategies.
Knowledge of youth culture and behavior.
You are currently based in Kenya/Ethiopia.
The Rewards
At Tiko we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary bracket for this position is Ksh142,059 - Ksh213,088 gross in Kenya, and €1,108 to €1,663 gross in Ethiopia, plus benefits. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
