As a Development Engineer Re-manufacturing (m/f/d) you are responsible to initiate and lead technical projects with focus on the design and validation of products for the after sales market. Re-manufacturing is an industrial process where engines and its parts are overhauled to meet the quality of new components.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Initiate and lead re-manufacturing projects from idea generation to serial release including coordination with all internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the development and design for re-manufactured components
- Drive and support innovation and continuous improvement based on customer needs, new technical achievements and profound analyses of current products
- Responsible for keeping all OEM standards, quality and EHS policies and guidelines from design to release
- Develop and maintain adequate reporting tools and coordinate the creation and update of relevant documents
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’ degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent area OR Higher Technical College (e.g., HTL) with first work experience
- Good experience in product development and design
- Service experience in the gas engines sector preferred
- Profound/good knowledge of reciprocating engines and their systems
- Knowledge of quality systems and project management methodologies
- Experience or state-of-the-art knowledge in product concept development and data analysis techniques
- Flexible mindset and ability to work on multiple projects and topics simultaneously
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
- Fluent in English and German preferred
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.310,48 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
