Development Associate

OVERVIEW
The Development Associate plays a key role in maximizing BlinkNow’s development efforts. This position will be reporting to our Director of Development (DOD) and will also coordinate tasks with the Program Associate and Grants team.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individuals
- Lead donor pipeline research and work with the Director of Development to create engagement strategies for identified donors. Engage with donors to move them up the pipeline - for example research & qualify 10 donors to move up the pipeline, share stories and reports of donor impact, invite to meet with DoD.
- Create and implement with the DOD a robust stewardship plan to further engage donor groups and increase donor retention.
- Enter and maintain records of donor descriptions and donor related communications in Salesforce.
- Provide administrative backup to DOD.
Annual Programs
- Collaborate with DOD and Communications Team to implement fundraising campaigns including preparation and help managing mailing lists and campaign materials.
- Coordinate logistical details of fundraising events.
- Maintain correspondence related to events and meetings.
- Recruit, engage with and encourage peer to peer fundraisers and crowdfunding efforts
- Engage with development volunteers
- Provide administrative backup to DOD.
- Work with the grants team on grant submissions and reporting and research and identify new sources of grant funding
- Update a reporting and grants application calendar in Salesforce to ensure all donor updates are scheduled and on time
- Assist DOD with scheduling Foundation donor meetings for DOD/CEO
QUALIFICATIONS::
- Salesforce database management experience
- Bachelor's degree; at least 2-3 years of professional development experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Fluency in English
- Strong written communication skills

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:
- Location: Remote, reporting to our US team
- Position Type: Part-time (25-30 hours/week), Hourly Pay based on experience
