Data Analyst

As a data analyst, your role extends beyond analyzing agricultural data for Proximity Designs' products and services. You will contribute to the advancement of technology in Myanmar's agricultural industry by providing valuable insights. This involves researching information on farmers and agriculture not only within your township but also across the entire regional agricultural ecosystem. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in supporting your team's business insights, driving innovation, creating customer-centric products, and shaping the team's annual strategy through informed operational decisions and thorough research.

Once You’re Here, You Will:

• Work closely with Sales Representatives and Crop Advisors from Yetagon Farm Services Field Branches who serve farmers, and systematically check, record and analyze the agricultural operational information of farmers who are using Yetagon products and services.
• Enter and organize branch operational data, and then calculate and analyze these datasets to figure out opportunities to improve Yetagon products and services for customer farmers.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across the Field Sales Forces (Head of Territory, Territory Sales Incharge, Sales Reps, Crop Advisors) and Field Branches to facilitate improvements in data collection and analysis as necessary.
• Support Field Branches, Head of Territory and Territories Sales Incharge by helping with sales data collection, data analysis, and reports as necessary.

Must-Have:

• Must be interested in working for the development of local agricultural activities.
• University Graduate (Preferably in bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics)
• Detail oriented.
• Strong desire to learn new things.
• Interested in creating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Microsoft Offices (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Google Doc and Sheet, Drive, Slide) and Email can be used effectively.
• Willingness to use digital tools for data collection, entering and transfer process.

Added Bonus:

• Experienced in data entry.
• A person who has used a Desktop Application related to Data Entry work or who can learn and use a Desktop Application and digital tools in a short time.
• Person who is used to on-line communication channel applications such as Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc.
• Located in or able to relocate to areas near Thayarwady or Aunglan Branch Office.
