CORPORATE RELATIONS MANAGER

Position Purpose

A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The position is full-time and is responsible for creating and stewarding corporate partnerships.

Essential Functions

• Engage in activities to cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partnerships, including writing proposals, delivering impact reports, and conducting in-person visits to strengthen relationships.

• Responsible for building strategic partnerships with corporations through various avenues such as employee volunteer trips, financial support, fundraising, in-kind donations, skills-based support, and marketing collaborations.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all partnership activities, emails, financial commitments, and required reporting in Salesforce to ensure accountability and transparency.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that high-level corporate support is publicized effectively and communicated to relevant audiences.

• Collaborate with Volunteer and Alumni Relations and Operations teams to plan employee volunteer trips, ensuring successful execution and participant satisfaction.

• Follow up on corporate prospects or leads, secure sponsorships, and foster new corporate relationships to expand the organization's network and resources.

• Understand and manage a portfolio of current corporate partners with the intent of increasing engagement and deepening relationships.

• We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required.

• Perform other duties as required to support the success of corporate partnerships and organizational goals.

Position Requirements

• Education  Bachelor’s degree equivalent experience
• Related Experience  1+ years of experience in corporate partnership management, with a focus on corporate volunteer programs, fundraising, and donor relations. Experience working within the nonprofit sector is highly desirable
• Special Competencies/Certifications  Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus. Applicants must be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. Ability to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation Typical annual starting range: $35,000 - $38,750 USD, which will be based on skills and experience and up to $42,500 for highly qualified candidates..  Annual pay increases may be available, up to a salary maximum of $50,000 .
