Position Overview
PolicyLink Corporate Racial Equity (CRE) and Equitable Economy (EE) programs are growing and in need of a Coordinator to support their growth. This position will provide critical leverage to the CRE and EE Managing Directors by supporting day-to-day calendaring and meeting management, assisting with project management and research, and important communications tasks such as inbox management, reviewing materials for accuracy, and much more!
Responsibilities
Administration and Operations Support
- Manage the Managing Directors’ daily calendars and support complex scheduling.
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, reminders, preparing agendas, circulating documents, critical notetaking/to-do tracking, agenda preparation, researching and arranging venues/vendors, designing and executing registration processes, liaising with attendees, etc.
- Manage operations/administrative tasks for the team, including program management (Asana), scheduling (Outlook/Doodle/Calendly), facilitating contracts/invoices, coordinating team/external expenses (Certify), etc.
- Contribute to team and organizational planning, strategy, and evaluation, including participating in/facilitating meetings, tracking programmatic performance measures, and thought partnership, including writing blog/social media posts, etc.
- Support on webinars, presentations, and video calls, including taking notes and managing breakout rooms.
- Research and/or prepare materials for meetings and presentations; compile reference material as needed.
- Record keeping, such as through Salesforce CRM, and metrics tracking, and reporting.
Communications
- Manage inboxes, responding to general inquiries and elevating communications that require special attention.
- Review communications for accuracy, grammar, and design when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- A demonstrated and unwavering commitment to racial and economic justice.
- 4+ years in a similar role; experience in corporate sector is a plus.
- Advanced time management and project tracking skills to support team to meet all deliverables and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple and sometimes competing tasks.
- Ability to judge the relative importance of issues and act independently to address them, applying the appropriate level of urgency and drive to achieve results.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Google G Suite, Zoom, and CRM such as Salesforce.
- Basic design skills and sensibility.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently (both virtually and in-person) with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse staff and partner organizations.
- Tact, poise, professionalism, diplomacy, and a great sense of humor.
Work Environment
- This position will support two PolicyLink program teams: Corporate Racial Equity and Equitable Economy.
- This role reports to the Managing Directors of Corporate Racial Equity and Equitable Economy in the Pacific and Central time zones.
- This position is a remote position, with travel required for periodic team gatherings.
Position Type
Exempt, 100% full-time, 40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits
The hiring salary range for this position is $70,000 to 80,000, dependent upon experience.
