Corporate Partnership Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

One Tree Planted is looking to hire a Corporate Partnerships Manager (North America) to join our fundraising team to help manage business partner relationships. We’re looking for somebody who is driven and wants to make the world a little greener by raising money to support our reforestation projects all over the world.

Reporting Relationships

• Reports to the head of Fundraising
• Role is part of our global fundraising team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

• Primary point of contact for business accounts located in the Americas but also possibly elsewhere
• Manage a portfolio of corporate donor relationships, ranging from small business to multinational corporations
• Maintain a strong understanding of One Tree Planted’s reforestation projects around the world, in order to confidently share these projects with potential funders and align with corporate sustainability goals
• Support corporate communications campaigns by providing creative ideas & content; ensuring all messaging is accurate and aligned with One Tree Planted guidelines
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with donors and working to establish a positive rapport with every enquiry
• Contact inbound leads through email, phone calls or setting up Zoom calls
• Assist in strategies for donor retention
• Prepare donor agreements; facilitate invoices and payments
• Cultivate strong relationships with recurring business donors, focusing on trust, transparency and communication
• Work closely with APAC Projects Team to align on opportunities and strategic priorities
• Provide ideas on how to continuously improve and grow the organization
• Maintain & update donor database (Salesforce CRM)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: BACHELOR’S DEGREE

• RELATED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience in fundraising/account management
• SKILLS:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable speaking with several different prospects per day on Zoom
  • Experience working in Salesforce & G-Suite
  • Ideal candidate is creative and can assist with developing a unique fundraising strategies to drive funding towards our planting projects
  • IDEAL LOCATION: Montreal preferred, hybrid

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

COMPENSATION:  typical starting range is $55,000 - $70,000 CAD which will be based on skills and experience. Annual performance increase may be available but not guaranteed.
