Contract and Project Manager, TPT
The post-holder will lead on contract management and project administrative support to the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) Secretariat, as well as wider project management across E3G.
Background to E3G
E3G is an independent climate change think tank with a global outlook. We are world leading strategists on the political economy of climate change, dedicated to achieving a safe climate for all.
E3G provides (jointly with UK CGFI) the Secretariat to the Transition Plan Taskforce. The TPT was launched by HM Treasury in April 2022 to develop a gold standard for private sector climate transition plans. More information on the TPT can be found at www.transitiontaskforce.net.

Role purpose
The primary purpose of this role will be to support the TPT Secretariat with awarding and managing contracts between E3G and third party suppliers who will provide advice and support to the Transition Plan Taskforce during 2023.
In addition the post-holder will be asked to provide broader project management and administrative support to the TPT Secretariat team on an ad hoc basis as required, e.g. event organisation, meeting scheduling, travel booking and inbox management, and to contribute to the overall work of the E3G Project Management Office to embed high quality operational management through the organisation.
This will be a short-term contract starting as soon as practical and ending no later than 31st December 2023.

We offer a competitive remuneration package for a non-profit organisation based on qualifications and experience.
We will consider employing this post-holder on either a staff or a consultancy basis. The role is envisaged to be full-time but we will consider applications for part-time or flexible working.
Location
This role is anticipated to be based in London, but requests for flexible working in the UK will be considered.
