About the Program:**
WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities’ air quality program is a global initiative that seeks to identify, build awareness of, and eliminate the root causes of air pollution that damage climate, human, and ecosystem health. The program has three main areas of work:
This position will primarily focus on the Clean Air Catalyst, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded project and will provide additional support to other air quality projects within the air quality program’s portfolio. WRI’s air quality portfolio also includes the recently launched Canairy Alert, a project funded by the Clean Air Fund and the United Nations Environment Programme, that aims to create high-quality forecasts for cities in the African continent, as well as a Community of Practice to air quality managers in Latin America and Africa.

Job Highlight:**
You will work closely with the Clean Air Catalyst project’s global science and communications and engagement leads to translate our air quality experience on the ground into shareable insights aimed at scientists, public policy experts, city governments, civil society stakeholders, and all parties interested in our methodologies and tools. This work can extend to other projects in the air quality portfolio such as the recently launched Community of Practice for Africa and Asian air quality managers.
You will be supported by the Communications and Engagement Manager, and the project management team.
You will report to the Communications and Engagement Manager.
This position will be a hybrid model of remote and in-office.
