SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Content and Creative Specialist will work in close collaboration with other Oxfam Canada staff to produce compelling content and stories to demonstrate Oxfam Canada’s value and impact and inspire the public to support us. As a passionate communicator, the Content and Creative Specialist is responsible for developing our content strategy, and produce stories in various formats for different channels to engage and mobilize a variety of audiences around Oxfam’s mission and vision. The Content and Creative Specialist will be a key contributor to raising awareness around the injustice of poverty and inequality, encourage engagement, deepen Oxfam’s value proposition and inspire philanthropic giving.
Reporting to the Manager, Communications, they will contribute to the organization’s broader communications goals as outlined in the Communications Strategy. They will help steward the Oxfam brand in Canada and contribute to the development of effective communications products that engages our key stakeholders. Strong storytelling, design, digital and editing skills are principal requirements of this role.

4 weeks of paid vacation per year, prorated based on FTE equivalence, plus paid office closure from December 27 to 31.
