Job overview at a glance
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate professional to join our team and support clients to address their most pressing supply-chain sustainability challenges. This role will be client-facing and require direct engagement with clients’ Sustainability/ESG or Procurement teams.
The role also supports ELEVATE’s expansion in Africa by attending events and other business development opportunities to meet regional stakeholders and support their business needs.
You will work with private-sector clients, many of which are major global companies, spanning a variety of sectors, including consumer goods, retail, food/agriculture, finance, real estate, and electronics. You will initially be part of the Asia-Pacific Advisory team as we expand in Africa and will work with, and learn from, ELEVATE experts from teams across the globe.

Who you are
Duties & Responsibilities
Own and deliver specific tasks on time and at a high level of quality for client projects, with guidance from more senior staff:
Research, analyze information, and synthesize findings and recommendations to address client needs
Contribute to written client deliverables, such as reports and presentations
Communicate with clients and present deliverables to clients
Use ELEVATE platforms and processes (Wrike, Salesforce, COP and Revenue Recognition, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner
Follow training and development plans as directed
Contribute to proposal writing, networking, and raising the profile of ELEVATE, as directed by Senior Consultants and other staff as allocated, to help secure new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Support product and service research and development as directed
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a relevant field
Experience in sustainability and/or supply chain consulting (Candidates with less experience might be considered for an Associate position)
Novice- to intermediate-level and hands-on experience with social compliance assessments, worker engagement and human rights preferred
Understanding or deep interest in supply chains, responsible sourcing, and sustainability
Excellent project management skills
Communication, networking and stakeholder engagement skills
Fluency in written and spoken English required
Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work virtually, one-on-one, and in a team
Capacity to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours
Strong information processing skills, such as research skills, analytical & synthetic thinking, critical thinking, and structured problem solving
Strong computer skills: command of Microsoft 365 suite, search engines, online meeting tools, project management software, proprietary systems knowledge, CRM, etc.
