Over the past 10 years, Mercy Corps has embarked on a journey to challenge and address gender inequality and social exclusion in our organization, our programs, and our sector through the ACT for Impact grant. Initially, we developed policies and resources to address gender inequality in our programs. In the last decade, the scope of the ACT program has broadened and deepened to tackle inequality in our operations as well as in our programs. At the same time, significant global crises occurred, underscoring that safety, diversity, and inclusion are inextricably linked to who we are and what we do. This work is a key organizational priority for Mercy Corps.
Purpose / Project Description:
Mercy Corps’ new 10 year strategy, the Pathway to Possibility, places inclusion at the heart of our work. As part of a continued commitment to inclusion, we are looking for an experienced consultant to create a business case for our agency inclusion framework that will demonstrate a holistic and cohesive approach to inclusion that connects our operations, teams and programs. This business case will capture global data and statistics on the power of inclusion as well as successful examples from Mercy Corps programs and teams. This business case will help us continue to build alignment for inclusion across the organization and act as the foundation for our planned social behavior change campaign.
