Development of Coffee Table Book entitled “Bridging Communities: The Inspiring Journey of Camp Bilal's Transformation in Munai, Lanao del Norte”

I. Background and Rationale
The Bangsamoro in Lanao del Norte has a long history of conflict and violence that has led to the displacement and suffering of countless individuals and families. In recent years, however, there have been positive developments in the peace process, including the planned transformation of Camp Bilal, a former stronghold of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), into a peaceful community.
This transformation has been made possible through the efforts of various stakeholders, including the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army, Pakigdait Inc., the Provincial Department of the Interior and Local Government of Lanao del Norte, the Philippine National Police, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, the Congressional District Representatives of Lanao del Norte, and the LGUs of Munai, Tangkal, and Tagoloan. Together, these stakeholders have worked towards healing and reconciliation, especially between Camp Bilal and the coastal communities of Lanao del Norte.
II. Objective
The coffee table book will be featuring the personal testimonies and visuals to showcase the journey towards peace and inspire hope to other communities and generations on the planned transformation of Camp Bilal that is a significant milestone in the peace process in Lanao del Norte. The contractor will shoot, document, design & production (Including Editing, Photo-Editing, Developing Info graphics and Proof-Reading and printing Coffee Table Book. The book should resonate with both national and global audiences.
III. Scope of Work & Technical Requirements:
The coffee table book is to be empathy driven, moving and motivational, told mainly from the perspective of the diverse stakeholders (particularly women), with interviews and inputs from local communities, partners, decision makers or policy makers and other stakeholders. The Coffee Book Table should be produced at high quality standard, high-definition and colorful, with clean stylistic touches.

IV. Expected Timeline
The Consultancy is from 18 April 2023 to 30 April 2023. The final product i.e., the coffee table book as well as all the raw material and project files, should be given to Nonviolent Peaceforce no later than 30th April 2023.
V. Location
The contractor is expected to travel to the different areas of Lanao del Norte.

VII. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
In consideration of the fees paid, the Consultant expressly assigns to Nonviolent Peaceforce any copyright arising from the works the consultant produces while executing this contract.
The consultant may not use, reproduce or otherwise disseminate or authorize others to use, reproduce or disseminate such works without prior consent from Nonviolent Peaceforce.
