Impact is core to what we do and who we are at MCV. Impact management increases efficiency, business resilience, and investment attractiveness of our portfolio companies, enabling them to better articulate and validate their value propositions, refine their customer feedback loops, and more holistically identify and mitigate risks. We assess impact throughout the investment cycle and help entrepreneurs build business resilience through comprehensive impact management and management (IMM). We take a holistic, multi-dimensional approach to IMM and align to best-in-class industry standards including the Impact Management Project, IRIS+, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
MCV is seeking a part-time consultant to provide impact measurement and management technical assistance for our portfolio companies. The consultant will focus on IMM support in two key areas: 1) conducting tailored pre- and post-investment support engagements using MCV’s IMM offering for portfolio companies, and 2) analyzing/reviewing potential investees’ impact model and impact risks during the investment diligence process.

The consultancy will begin in September 2022 and will have a 12-month duration, with possibility of extension. The consultant is expected to work an average of 4-8 hours per week for a maximum of 50 days; workload may vary week to week depending on the engagement schedule. MCV will work with the consultant to determine availability, work schedule, and ways of working. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
