Project Summary
Accion seeks a content writer to support our engagement and content efforts through content planning, writing, and social media copywriting. As we work to raise Accion’s profile in the fields of impact investing, financial inclusion, and fintech, this position will work across our team to ensure that Accion’s work is shared with our target audience in a high-quality and dynamic way. This contract is for approximately 15/hours per week for 6 months.
The ideal candidate has deep content writing skills and experience, including two or more years of experience in finance and/or sustainable development. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Content and is a remote position.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
Content Creation:
The consultant will work approximately 15 hours per week on planning and editorial content as assigned, including:
Qualifications
Five years of relevant writing experience
Strong writing and editing skills required
International development or financial services industry background preferred
Social media marketing experience preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
Excellent at multi-tasking with a positive, can-do attitude.

Project Schedule
The estimated number of hours is 15 hours/week and working hours are flexible. All work will be completed between July 2022 and December 31, 2022.
