1.1 Background
About AMAZE
AMAZE is an initiative of experts in sexuality education -Advocates for Youth- that with the support of Fòs Feminista in Latin America and the Caribbean, and soon in other regions of the world, consists of the design and production of online educational resources that are characterized by being entertaining, relevant and evidence-based for children. girls and adolescents from 10 to 14 years old. Through its animated and short videos, AMAZE seeks to offer answers that adolescents and young people seek and need to develop physically and emotionally healthy, as well as to make free and informed decisions.
About Fòs Feminista
The International Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights and Justice is a new model for feminist action and solidarity that maintains and strengthens the work and partnerships of the International Planned Parenthood Federation Western Hemisphere Region (IPPFRHO). Our 2023-2024 Strategic Update provides a two-year bridge to learn, together with our partners, how to operate as a global, intersectional, feminist, South-led alliance.
Fòs Feminista works in partnership with organizations around the world to respond to the priorities of the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice (SRHR) ecosystem, with a focus on the most marginalized women, girls, and gender-diverse people.
Our partners are local health providers and community caregivers, rights-minded educators, and young leaders, grassroots activists, and national, regional, and international advocates for feminist change.
About FFFV project and its partners
The Feminist Futures Free of Violence project, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is three years in duration and sets out an ambitious and comprehensive approach to preventing and responding to Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV) in Latin America, focusing on Ecuador, Mexico, and Paraguay. The target population is women, girls, and people with other gender identities, with an emphasis on reaching young people and poor and marginalized groups, as well as an innovative component focused on the positive participation of men. The use of participatory feminist methodologies, South-South exchanges, and gender-transformative, intersectional, and human rights-based approaches in all phases of project design, implementation, and evaluation will be critical to its success.
The project is under the coordination of Fòs Feminista and will be carried out in collaboration with a global partner (Equimundo) and five local implementing partners: Católicas por el Derecho a Decidir/México (CDD), the Red Nacional de Refugios (RNR), and the Observatorio Ciudadano Nacional del Feminicidio (OCNF) in Mexico, Centro Ecuatoriano para la Promoción y Acción de la Mujer (CEPAM-Guayaquil) in Ecuador, and Centro Paraguayo de Estudios de Población (CEPEP) in Paraguay. A brief profile of each partner organization is presented next:
CEPAM – Guayaquil (Ecuador) social organization that works to promote a society free of violence against women, children, adolescents, youth; and, the full exercise of the DSDR through interventions related to education, capacity building, incidence, and provision of accompaniment, among others.
CEPEP (Ecuador), an organization that works to promote and defend comprehensive health and the SRHR of people, especially the least attended and/or most discriminated population, through activities such as sensitization to decision makers, development of national studies and dissemination of results, making recommendations for actions and strategies based on their experience and research carried out, educating, training and providing SRH services.
Católicas por el derecho a decidir Mexico, an organization of believers that, from an ethical, catholic, and feminist perspective, joins the defense of the human rights of women and young people, particularly Sexual Rights and Reproductive Rights, including access to safe and legal abortion, and its link with social justice, democracy, and secularism, through various actions of education, advocacy, capacity building and work with strategic allies in various parts of Mexico.
Red Nacional de Refugios (Mexico), an organization that brings together diverse civil society organizations, working on the care, response, and reception of GBV survivors in Mexico. The organization carries out the work of accompaniment and support to survivors of violence, as well as advocacy actions in public policies, training public servants, and community interventions to strengthen the Network.
Observatorio Ciudadano Nacional del Feminicidio – OCNF (Mexico), an organization that works to monitor, monitor and systematize information on the lack of prosecution and administration of justice for GBV survivors and victims of femicide in Mexico, articulates with local organizations and groups to influence in public policies, protocols, and other existing mechanisms to respond to these problems.
Equimundo, a global organization that works to promote gender equality and the creation of a world free of violence, involving men and boys in collaboration with women, girls, and people of all gender identities. Through its interventions, Equimundo promotes and strengthens the capacities of men and boys to integrate healthy masculinities and challenge harmful gender.
II. SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 Objective & Role of the Consultancy
The Consulting Agency/Consultant will collaborate with the partners organization in Ecuador and Mexico, and work in close coordination with assigned focal points to lead and carry out a complete process of adapting two AMAZE videos on Comprehensive Sexuality Education and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence topics aimed at adolescents aged 10 to 14. The Consulting Agency / Consultant must ensure that it adapts AMAZE videos in full adherence to the AMAZE guidelines and style guide, and responding to the information needs on sexual and reproductive health of adolescents in their countries.
Likewise, the Consulting Agency / Consultant will be in charge -in coordination with the focal points assigned by the local organization and Fòs Feminista- of organizing a hybrid launch event for the materials generated. (Characteristics of such an event will be discussed later).

The Consultant Agency/ Consultant must comply with all the requirements detailed below in the "Deliverables" section.
2.6 Copyright
The selected Consulting Agency/Consultant agrees that all material, without exception, produced under any contract issued will be the property of AMAZE (I) LLC for the use of its partner organizations. The Consulting Agency/Consultant acknowledges that exclusive ownership of all material produced for AMAZE shall be owned by AMAZE (I) LLC and its partners (Advocates for Youth), who shall further own the copyright in each of the materials.
The selected Consulting Agency / Consultant will agree to deliver the products for which it was hired by Fòs Feminista. Fòs Feminista and AMAZE (I) LLC reserve the right to use the freely produced materials to complement other animations or materials that have been prepared by other consultants.
2.7 Support, collaboration and oversight
The consulting/consulting agency will have follow-up, supervision and support from focal points assigned by the partner organization and Fòs Feminista, who will have the responsibility to respond to concerns and provide technical support on sexual and reproductive health, and other issues that may be needed.

Limited term consultancy with an estimated commitment from December 2023 to March 2024.
4.2 Project location
Fully remote, based anywhere in the world (preferably in Africa, Asia, and The Americas.) Work will be done virtually. The Consultant must be willing to adjust to different time zones.
4.3 Reporting
The Consultant will report to the SGBV Senior Program Officer, Program Implementation Unit.
