Purpose / Project Description:
To support achievement of critical Talent Acquisition (TA) priorities across Mercy Corps globally. TA Coordination Consultant will be responsible to support interviews scheduling, CV screening, references, communicating job adverts, and other TA administrative support. This will ultimately contribute to the team’s effectiveness meeting key on going deliverables.
Consultant Objectives/Activities:
Alumni Talent Pool
- Support interviews scheduling process as needed
- Conduct Reference and MDS Check for ATP Selected Candidates:
- Gather the list of selected candidates.
- Reach out to their references to verify their qualifications and suitability.
- Complete the MDS check as needed.
- Send Introductory Emails with Required Documentation:
- Draft a template for the introductory email, including:
- A warm welcome to the candidates.
- Details about the next steps.
- Any required documentation they need to complete or review.
- Personalize the emails for each candidate and send them out.
- Create the Administrative Folder for ATP Member Management:
- Set up a dedicated folder on your organization’s file management system.
- Organize it with subfolders for each candidate (e.g., documentation, correspondence).
- Ensure proper permissions are set for access.
- Create MC Login Credentials on the MCAM Tool:
- Access the MCAM tool and follow the procedure for creating new user accounts.
- Assign unique login credentials to each selected candidate.
- Ensure to communicate their login details securely.
Talent Acquisition operational deliverables
Interviews Scheduling Support –
- Schedule interviews in a timely manner
- Utilize ATS to manage recruitment support: add candidates, coordinate and communicate action points with interviewers
- In some cases, help with setting up initial Interviews
- Coordinate effectively and accurately across internal and external stakeholders (hiring managers, interview panelists, candidates)
Source Candidates Support
- Source for relevant profiles through ATS, social networking sites, associations, competitor organizations and other groups.
- Communicate job adverts across relevant forums and networks
Screen of applications Support
- Under guidance of the TA Advisor, conduct first screening of applications to determine long lists
Others
- Support with administering/scheduling written tests and assessments as provided by the hiring team
- Administer reference checks as needed
- Provide other administrative support required by TA Advisors/TA Manager
- Assist closing requisitions on Jobvite as advised by TA team
- Participate in TA team meetings
Consultant Deliverables:
The Consultant will:
- Update stakeholders, systems, and trackers as relevant upon completion of TA activities
Timeframe / Schedule:
- Depending on recruiting volumes, it is anticipated that the Talent Acquisition Coordination Consultant would work for 3 months, 5 days a week.
- We work in flexible work schedule and may be asked to work past regular office hours occasionally.

The Consultant will work closely with:
- Talent Acquisition Advisors and Managers, International HR Director, Hiring Managers, Country Offices Team and Global People Team
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3 years of on the job training in Talent Acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience with Talent Acquisition processes and policies.
- Good understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or trainable
- Ability to develop rapport with candidates and hiring teams, referral sources.
- Ability to multi-task projects and priorities in an organised and adaptable manner.
- Professionally handles confidential and sensitive information and inquiries, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral – English language
- A great team player with a passion to learn, highly positive attitude
- Demonstrated skills of empathy in handling internal and external clients.
- Excellent organizing, planning, implementing and coordinating skills.
- High attention to details, multi-tasking, keen to different time zones
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, MS Teams and other tools such as outlook 365 etc.
