BACKGROUND
The Cooperative Housing Foundation, doing business as Global Communities, with funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), invites qualified entities with experience with program evaluations to submit their proposals for conducting two evaluations, the EDUCAMOS Final Evaluation and UNIDOS Baseline Evaluation. Global Communities is implementing a five-year (2017-2022) McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program (McGovern-Dole) in Guatemala, titled EDUCAMOS (Educación con Calidad y Alimentación Mejorada Orientadas a la Sostenibilidad or Quality Education and Improved Nutrition for Sustainability), in five municipalities of the department of Huehuetenango. Additionally, starting in 2022, Global Communities will partner with Save the Children (SCUS) to implement a new, five-year (2022-2026) McGovern-Dole program titled UNIDOS in seven municipalities of the department of Huehuetenango and seven in the department of Quiché (SCUS).
The EDUCAMOS Final Evaluation in Huehuetenango will measure project indicators against Baseline (BL) and Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE) results, analyzing the results and impact achieved. In addition, the Final Evaluation shall determine the causality of results attributable to the program and will document lessons learned. The UNIDOS Baseline (BL) will help validate target values initially established and provide a basis for measuring future project results and impact.
