Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides relief to survivors of natural disasters. The position is full time and is responsible for community & beneficiary engagement, fostering strong bonds between the community and AHAH on all programs, and conducting beneficiary selection as required. This position is also responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of AHAH work by collecting and responding to feedback.
The position will teach our staff team the construction skills required to repair homes after a disaster. The role will also help in the assessment of technical issues and play a large part in establishing new programs and optimizing existing.

We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required.

Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Related Experience: Previous experience working with All Hands and Hearts preferred. 2+ years experience working in construction preferred. 2+ years of experience working in project management preferred.
Special Competencies/Certifications: Must have good written and oral communication skills (English). Must be confident working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Needs to be well organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks. Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Able to manage large groups of people and perform in a complex and diverse environment. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits
Typical starting salary is $16.00/hour - $16.50/hour, and up to $17.00/hour for highly qualified candidates who have previous experience in this role.
