Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The position is full-time and is responsible for managing project workflow and ensuring the quality and safety of all work carried out.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for the quality control and work efficiency of the construction tasks and processes delegated by Construction Site Coordinator and Project Manager
- Provides on-site technical support to Team Leaders and volunteers
- Liaise with the Construction Site Coordinator to manage workflow and ensure there are sufficient people to meet the demands of the work
- Maintain accurate tracking systems of work completed, current progress and the site deliveries
- Together with the Construction Site Coordinator, hold daily morning meetings on-site to deliver health and safety briefings and divide the work for a day
- Implement an agreed set of safety and quality standards and design site protocols to ensure these standards are maintained with the support of the Construction Site Coordinator
- Support the Construction Site Coordinator in managing local masons, subcontractors and volunteers and assigning the site tasks accordingly
- Support the Construction Site Coordinator with on site tracking and completing site diary and work logs
- Supports the Construction Site Coordinator to implement Team Leader’s training and hold regular (daily and weekly) Team Leaders meetings
- Provide monthly skill matrix updates with Project Manager and Construction Site Coordinator to accurately track progress
- We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required.

Position Requirements
- Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in carpentry, masonary or in another related field is preferred.
- Related Experience Previous All Hands and Hearts experience preferred. 1+ years professional construction experience.
- Special Competencies/Certifications Knowledge of the Polish language is desired. Formal safety training, including certifications related to construction sites, first aid certifications, IOSH/OSHA certifications are preferred. Good written and oral communication skills and confidence working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets and Microsoft Office. The applicant needs to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. Must have a good understanding of construction and demolition in practice. Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems and the ability to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate is $600-$900 USD/ month, based on position, skills and experience
