Greenpeace International (GPI) is looking for a Community & Training Manager – Digital Transformation to facilitate our ambitious journey of Digital Transformation in all the regions where we work.
We have created a new Digital Transformation Support Centre to support our National/Regional Organisations (NROs) to undertake digital maturity assessments and design contextual Digital Transformational strategies. You’ll support the NROs in the creation and implementation of these strategies through facilitation and strategic guidance – in particular focusing on two key components: capacity building and Communities of Practice.
In this role you will:
Create a flourishing Community of Practice for Digital Transformation in the Global Greenpeace Network.
Map existing Communities of Practice.
Facilitate and lead the Digital Transformation Community of Practice – including organising calls, workshops and individual outreach.
Contribute to stakeholder management.
Connect with Digital Transformation Communities of Practice in other organisations.
Set up a global conference to share best practices and ensure GPI’s participation in existing examples.
Develop and facilitate Digital Transformation training and workshops (offline and online) in order to build capacity and enable decentralised learning around Digital Transformation.
Create an easily accessible case study repository of Digital Transformation initiatives, both inside and outside the organisation, to facilitate fast adoption and implementation of best practices.
Design/create visualisations, infographics and other materials to assist the team in sharing information and learnings.
Support the development and implementation of a monitoring, evaluation and learning system (e.g. global and regional digital maturity indicators; analysis, progress measurement and tracking of KPIs).

What we’re looking for:
A good understanding of Digital Transformation and its potential for internal and external impact.
A real interest in creating a culture for impact, experimentation and agility.
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders and to foster positive relationships.
Expert ability to analyse user requirements/experience in user-centric service design.
Ability to translate technical language to non-experts in a clear and engaging manner.
Good facilitation skills – for both in-person and virtual meetings.
A proactive and confident approach to generating and leading new initiatives.
Ability to thrive in a complex and evolving workplace. (Ideally, experience with Agile ways of working.)
Ideally, some experience with design tools, such Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.
Experience in an international and culturally diverse environment, with willingness to travel.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, and preferably one other language (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, (Brazilian) Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Tagalog & Bahasa Indonesian).
Support and alignment with Greenpeace goals and values.
You will get to work with a highly motivated team that forms the Digital Transformation Support Centre (DXSC) team that was fully established in May 2022. The team is very collaborative, still experimenting with new ways of working, and you will get to work with all team members. Depending on interest, and performance, you will also get the chance to take responsibility and lead on certain work packages.
