JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Community Manager will be responsible for developing and launching national grassroots communities of advocates and like-minded organizations committed to helping us achieve our mission. This will include overseeing the overall strategy and the recruiting, training, and engaging of members.
This individual will be experienced in building grassroots movements, designing engagement ladders, and moving advocates up the ladder of engagement. This individual may also be skilled at building coalitions among organizations with national reach, identifying points of synergy, and working towards common goals.
The Senior Community Manager will report to the Deputy Director of Community and Partnerships as a part of the Community and Partnerships (CAP) Department, which is responsible for overseeing the network of individual and organizational supporters.
We expect this individual to adhere to the Alliance’s hybrid work schedule, working both remotely and from our office in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We will consider full-time remote employees who are not local to our office with the expectation that they will travel into the office occasionally. Work hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM EST.
