Given the massive global environmental challenges as well as the need for a full independence from Russian energy, the reconstruction is an important tool to create a sustainable and independent Ukraine to work on this long-term goal, Greenpeace CEE is hiring
Communications Officer – Green Reconstruction of Ukraine
Main tasks:
Design the communication strategy around the sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine
Build and maintain a network of key European journalists
Build Social Media presence with especially identifying key multiplicators to carry the narrative
Serve as a press speaker at events or activities related to this campaign
Design/support digital engagement campaigns that build up public pressure on decision makers (supporter e-mails, engagement journeys, etc.)
Identify stakeholders, influencers, etc. as our key allies and build and maintain relationships with them
Experience and skills needed:
Excellent spoken and written English and Ukrainian, preferably also Russian.
Successful track record in storytelling and narrative development journalism or press work or as a press speaker, especially in crisis communication
Good representation and networking skills
Experience with civil society is a plus
Availability to travel
Creativity and courage
Genuine passion and enthusiasm for environmental protection
