Third Generation Environmentalism is hiring a
Communications Officer, DC
E3G is looking for a first-class Communications Officer, based in its DC Office to support the delivery of E3G’s mission and profile-building activities in DC.
Overview
E3G combines politics and policy to accelerate the transition to a climate-safe world. We work globally but focus on revving up the transatlantic engine to drive the transformational change we need. We have offices in Washington DC, London, Berlin and Brussels and Associates located in other parts of the world. We build the broad-based coalitions needed to deliver change.
We pride ourselves in our geopolitical and strategic thinking and crafting tactical and timely interventions, many of which require a strategic communication component. Hence, we need a new colleague to join small but feisty team in D.C. dedicated to communications.
We are looking for a driven, creative and skilled communicator to grow E3G’s impact and reach on US policies and politics. The successful candidate will join a rich and dynamic team, working in close collaboration with wider E3G and the comms teams as well as our partners and networks.
This role is offered on a 12-month contract basis with a view to further extension.
E3G is consistently ranked as one of the top-ten most influential environmental think tanks in the world by the University of Pennsylvania’s Global Go To Think Tank Index. We value diversity and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or ethnic background.
