About the Program:
The Climate Program at WRI focuses on four main areas: stepping up national climate delivery, advancing international climate action, tracking progress toward climate goals and supporting equity and development goals in the transition to a zero-carbon economy. The Climate Program is involved in a range of high impact initiatives such as the NDC Partnership, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Allied for Climate Transformation By 2025 (ACT2025), System Change Lab, Science Based Targets initiative and others. WRI staff working on climate are located in country offices across all continents.
Job Highlight:
World Resources Institute is looking for a dynamic and experienced Communications Manager to join our Climate Program. Reporting to the Communications Director, you will help shape the narrative around climate change, sustainable development, and environmental protection. Your work will involve collaborating across several sub-teams to craft comprehensive communications strategies, writing compelling articles, ghostwriting op-eds and overseeing the successful execution of launch events and initiatives. You will be supported by a crew of experienced and dedicated communication professionals within the Climate Program and WRI’s Core Communications team. This is a term-limited role for six months, with the possibility of extension.

Potential Salary: Salary range is between 96,000 USD to 110,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
