Commercial Administrator

Job Summary:

The Manager, Sales Administration role will initially report to the Commercial Manager and assume a key role in the daily administration of customer orders and shipments, with a focus on the German market.

We are seeking a talented, motivated top performer to join our team in this role with experience in customer service while communicating with multiple internal departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support and take ownership of the administration aspects of customer orders and the corresponding financial and compliance paperwork that must be maintained customers/suppliers of spent lithium-ion batteries:

• Work with existing customers to ensure that all required paperwork is completed prior to shipments
• Ensure that any material sampling requirements have been identified and completed as necessary
• Resolve any discrepancies with clients related to differences in weight, material type, etc.
• Ensure that all purchase orders and invoices are prepared in a timely fashion and sent to customers
• Perform documentation reviews ahead of certification audits.
• Manage the communication to customers with any change to our permits, change in certification status, insurance updates or any other cases where we have committed to communicate to clients.
• Be a central point of contact for customer questions related to payments or any other item.
• Participate in teams to continually improve our IT systems and processes as it related to our interaction with customers.

Job Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree / diploma in a field related to Business, Computer Science, Accounting
• 4+ years of experience in a customer service environment
• Excellent computer skills (EXCEL, ERP experience, etc.)
