Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is seeking a Close Out Coordinator to join the St. John's, Newfoundland team. We have a full-time career opportunity for an energetic, resourceful, and motivated individual to support the team with all close out and completion activities.
Job Objectives:
- Responsible for ensuring that all sections of the construction work packs are in a state of completeness / readiness for onshore closeout and that the associated completions documentation and handover packages are in line with project requirements / procedures
- To play an active role in ensuring that all Project HSSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Offshore Supervision with the work pack process ensuring that all associated documentation and handover packages are completed in a consistent and accurate manner
- Compilation and verification of mechanical completion handover packages in line with agreed system handover schedule and project procedures
- Adherence to all applicable site / project safety procedures and active participation in all company / project safety initiatives
- Provide administrative support to the offshore construction supervisor
- Ensure that the required drawings (P&ID's, SLD's etc.) are as-built accordingly
- Track and report current work pack close-out readiness status
Other duties may include:
- Provide input into execution of completions audit reviews
- Provide input into safety reviews / walk-rounds
- Photocopying / scanning of documents
- Co-ordination of relevant project weight reports
- Co-ordination of financial closeout statement
- Hold closeout meetings with Project Team to facilitate formal closeout

Skills / Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Candidates require a Diploma or Degree in relevant technical discipline, from a recognized post-secondary institution
- 4+ years of experience, preferable within the Oil and Gas or Petro-chemical industry
- Good understanding of work pack and completions processes and requirements
- Good understanding of O&G related HSSE practices / procedures
- Self-starter and able to take initiative
- Highly organized and strong communication skills
- Capable of working to specific procedures and timelines
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada, without sponsorship from Wood
