• Reporting to: Latam O&M Manager.

• Department: O&M.

• Job Location: Santiago, Chile.

• Travel Required: National Travel.

Mainstream Renewable Power is a leading developer of renewable energy projects worldwide focusing on onshore and offshore wind projects as well as emerging renewable technologies. Mainstream will construct and operate renewable energy assets globally and is committed to delivering its projects to the highest safety standards.

What are we looking for?

Mainstream is looking for a Land Manager who will administered aspects related to the acquisition and management of land and owners in projects for the operation of wind farms or other facilities throughout the entire life cycle of the business, to ensure that the company has the necessary land for its projects and that effective relationships are established and maintained with the owners, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with contracts throughout the entire life cycle of the business.

What challenges will you face?

• Identify and keep updated the mapping of properties with restrictions and the mapping of landowners.
• Define negotiation and relationship strategies with landowners, adapted to their profiles.
• Maintain and ongoing relationship with landowners, working closely with OperationManagers and Plant Managers as appropriate.
• Identify and manage business risks associated with site and landowner management at all stages of the project.
• Manage and supervise external consultants providing land and property management support.
• Control of the payments and other related contract obligation with private and public landowners.
• Management of land third-party issues such as Mining Rights, Water permits, DGA.
• Cooperate with the environmental department and the operation team.

What knowledge do you require?

Educational, knowledge and experience background

• Lawyer, public relation, or similar degree.

Experience

• 4 or more year of experience on similar roles.

Language skills

• English language is an advantage.

Other Skills

• Organized, efficient and good at prioritizing tasks, delivering on time and quality.

• Good IT skills, including experience with the MS Office suite and SharePoint.

• Excellent skills to work under pressure, attention to detail, without losing the broader scope.
