SUMMARY
The primary objective of the Children's Programs Coordinator (CPC) is to support the Children’s Programs run by Feeding South Florida (FSF) throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The CPC must be detail oriented, appreciate travel, and have a strong inclination toward administrative work. The CPC will conduct monitoring site visits and ensure all assigned meal sites are operating in accordance with program regulations. The CPC will support #FeedingFutures School Pantry Program and Children’s Meals Programs throughout the FSF service area. The ideal candidate is energetic, hard-working, organized, is a master multi-tasker, thrives in a fast-paced environment, flexible and has a background in customer service/relationship management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct monitoring visits of Feeding South Florida sponsored Children’s Programs sites throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties.
- Support Children’s Programs food distributions throughout the FSF service area.
- Provide a corrective action plan (CAP) to sites not following regulations and conduct site reviews to verify CAPs have been implemented.
- Accept and review collected data and meal counts collected from Children’s Programs sites to ensure responsible stewardship and adherence to program requirements/regulations.
- Report immediately any problems with the Children’s Programs sites to the Children’s Programs Manager.
- Conduct training for Children’s Programs site staff and/or volunteers.
- Comply with civil rights laws and regulations.
- Assist management as necessary.
- Represent FSF at community meetings, events, and presentations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting including dashboards, weekly reports, paperwork,
contract management/fulfillment, compliance with grant guidelines, spreadsheets, and narratives, as needed.
- Ensure all phone calls, e-mails, letters, etc. are returned as expeditiously as possible, preferably in the same day.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Customer service/relationship management experience (Operations experience in addition to customer service is preferred)
- Positive attitude, energetic, good sense of humor – a “people person”
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak publicly
- Strong math skills
- Sensitivity to diverse populations with the ability to serve people in a compassionate, patient, friendly, and courteous manner, showing sincere interest in people’s concerns
- Ability to manage time efficiently, while under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work productively without constant supervision.
- Experience and comfort with training and teaching others.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, including a demonstrated impartiality to certain organizations, agencies, groups, or individuals.
- Possession of a current and valid Florida’s driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout FSF’s service area.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Hours of Operation: Although organization hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., this position may work additional/alternative hours, especially during peak times such as holiday seasons and disaster response. After hours business work is required occasionally throughout the year.
- Environment: This position works out in the community and travels to different locations throughout the tri-county service area during potential inclement weather conditions. The noise is the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Travel: FSF serves four counties so there is same-day travel between the counties, using a personal vehicle, and occasional out of town travel for meetings, conferences, or special events.
- OSHA Standards Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.
